(October 6, 2018)  Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court. The majority can do what they want, and for this GOP the end justifies all means. An independent judiciary, due process, democracy itself? They weren't convenient, so they threw out the rule book. It's gone. That's how fascism begins.

This separation of powers would prevent tyranny. In reality, however, they also have to work together. And there's the rub. No matter who becomes the next Supreme Court Justice, these issues play a central role.

Trump is still the unpresidential candidate in the 2016 presidential election

(06-07-2016, updated 07-13-2018) We are halfway the 2016 presidential election and Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee. When will he become presidential? We see how Trump treats every demographic that isn't white males. And he would silence judges, shut down the press, encourage even more police brutality, and we'd have many armed militias at his beck and call.

Call Me Crazy, But This Was Just the Iowa Caucus

Many pundits predict that this is the beginning of the end for Trump, but who knows. This is just the Iowa caucus; there's a lot more to come.
